Mr. Lai started his career in automotive battery industry in 1987 and was tasked with establishing branch operations in Southern Semenanjung Malaysia for Tai Kwong Yokohama Group of Companies. He has more than 30 years of experience in the Malaysian battery network.

Rockie was responsible for managing area sales and distribution with Borneo Technical (M) Sdn. Bhd. for more than 8 years. He has wide market knowledge of the Malaysian battery industry. He is responsible for establishing the distribution network for Amaron batteries in Malaysia.

Managing Director

Eric Chow has held marketing and commercial managerial position in various companies. Trained in the fields of Business Administration in University of Oregon, USA, he has returned to Malaysia in 1996. He has held position of Executive Director at Tai Kwong Yokohama Group of Companies in which he was responsible for the revamp of sales and distribution operations. He also runs a company responsible in the distribution of premium R/C model cars in South East Asia.

Y.K. Chow is the co-founder of Tai Kwong Yokohama Group of Companies in 1967. He was instrumental in the establishment of the famous distribution network for Yokohama batteries in Malaysia. His foresight and leadership have guided the company to list on Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in 1996. With over 50 years of battery industry and distribution experience, Y.K. is key in the success of Tecxus Marketing Sdn. Bhd.

Professional experience:

• 1982 – established van sale and branch expansion for Yokohama batteries
• 1996 – Tai Kwong Yokohama listed on Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange
• 2003 – joined Borneo Technical Malaysia as Managing Director
